My friend Sheli had a great idea for cute Christmas gifts for her sons’ friends. She sent an e-mail out to the moms and asked each one to make one place-mat with their child’s help on a piece of card-stock that she provided. She assigned each mom a different holiday so they knew how to decorate the paper. They could draw, paint, scrapbook, use pictures etc. but leave enough room for her to add the kid’s names to their set. Once she got them back, she made color copies of each of them and then personalized them with names and laminated them.
