Here is the best free site ever (in my humble opinion) for teaching kids letters, letter sounds, and beginning reading skills.
This past week I was trying to catch up on some laundry when my 2 year old starts to take her pooping position. She has been refusing to tell me when she has to go now for about 3 months which has been so much fun! I rushed her to the bathroom where of course she started to yell, “I not have to go poo poo.” As I made her sit there Ashlyn came in and asked if she wanted her to read to her. I left and Ashlyn took over. I heard her telling Emily, ” I will read to you but everytime I turn a page you have to push with your bottom.” A mommy in training!

HaHa! So cute! Reminds me of funny things my girls say!

I wish my 2 year old would tell me when he had to go potty or at least show some interest in potty training. He is 2 and a half with NO interest in it what so ever!
Thanks for sharing your Friday POst and this is the first time I have been to your blog, I LOVE LOVE your header of your blog! I love that easel I have a similar one for my kids.

I make her sit outside the door, but she does the same thing for me. She just has to tell me when she’s turning the pages.
February 13th, 2009 at 1:55 pmI need to write more of what they say down because I forget so easily. My 2 year old doesn’t exactly tell me when she has to go, I just run her to the potty several times a day.
February 13th, 2009 at 3:29 pmYeah, at school she tells me that she tried pushing 5 times like Daddy says and now she’s done. Too funny!
February 14th, 2009 at 3:02 pmAw, that is terribly, terribly cute. So, did she poop?!
February 15th, 2009 at 3:30 pmNo! Of course not. That would have been too easy.
