I did NOT leave my two year old on the potty for 30 minutes the other day because she refused to go poopy. She would NOT cry for a little and then start to sing Angels We Have Heard on High at the top of her lungs. Just to let you all know, she did finally go.I did NOT choose to watch The Office over a romantic Chick Flick for Valentine’s Day. I am NOT obsessed with it and do NOT watch an episode (or 3) every night after putting the girls to bed.
On Valentine’s Day I did NOT let my kids eat cake, candy, and chips non-stop from after lunch on. I did NOT not feed my kids (and husband) dinner even after my 5 year old said, ” I didn’t know we could skip dinner!” And then I did NOT tell her to eat a few more chips so she wouldn’t be hungry before she went to bed. I would NEVER do that!

OK, I will have to rent (from you
the office.
February 16th, 2009 at 9:28 amOh my that is funny, because I did it too (the letting the kids eat all kinds of junk). I wish we could skip dinner from time to time- I get so tired of coming up with dinner ideas, making it and then CLEANING it. Ugh.

February 16th, 2009 at 11:14 amThat is hilarious! Oh boy, if Cooper knew we “could” skip dinner…he would be 30 lbs for the rest of his life!
February 16th, 2009 at 3:23 pmSweetie, You didn’t mention that after we did NOT “skip” dinner you did NOT make me go out & buy you a McDonald’s large fry and a large McFlurry.
February 16th, 2009 at 4:02 pmAnne, it sounds like you should’ve eaten some more chips so you wouldn’t be hungry before bed. Ha ha! This was so funny, I really was cracking up…mostly because I can’t believe you would do this! Me…sure, you…not so much.
February 16th, 2009 at 11:58 pmI didn’t let my daughter eat candy all day on v-day either! What a coincidence.
