Aloha Friday- Cruising



It’s Friday, which means that over at An Island Life it’s time for Aloha Friday.  Summer time is here and that means vacation!!!  We are going to the Keys with some friends in a couple of weeks and we are thinking about doing another vacation in July sometime.  My husband was in the Navy and lived on an aircraft carrier for 4 years so he wants to do a cruise.  I’ve never been on one.  So my question is…

Have you ever been on a cruise?  What did you like most about it?

    Nope never.. and i guess i have sea-sick.. wonder how??? well i crossed a small river with a boat and felt kinda dizzy.. so that’s why i believe so…

    3 yrs ago we did a Disney Cruise & loved it! Well, Hubby got seasick & didn’t go to the med office. If he had he probably would have been fine.

    The kids loved the kid’s clubs so much that we had to pry them away! There was always stuff to do onboard (or nothing *grin*) plus tons of stuff off the ship too. Loads of fun.

    YES! It was a Disney Cruise and the most fabulous vacation ever! I was 16 so my favorite thing was that they had separate activites for teenagers. I made lots of new friends and had a blast at the teen “night clubs” and parties! It was perfection. I would love to go again someday.

    we went on one before kids. It was fun but I don’t think I could do one longer than 3/4 days – unless your destination was really out of the ordinary Bahamas/Carribean (Greek Isles, Hawaii or something) then you were doing it more for the destinations than the cruise. Are thinking of going with the girls?

    I went on a cruise when I was 10. We got caught in a hurricane so the only good thing about it was the food.
