Well today was our last day of summer. My husband goes back to work tomorrow after having 2 1/2 months off. It’s been wonderful and I am sad to see it end. Our girls adore him and love having him home for the summer. Tomorrow will be a sad day for them.
We have had many changes over the summer. We welcomed our third little girl into the world in June, the girls moved into the same room and we decided to home school our oldest daughter who will be beginning first grade on Tuesday. She will go to school two days a week and be home schooled the other three days. I will also be working on the two days she will be in school. I am nervous and excited all at the same time. For those of you who home school, feel free to share any tips you have learned along the way. I will let you know how the first couple of weeks go.
So sad to see our men leave again for the school year. You forgot to mention that your daughter also wants to play softball – a mommy loving it change!
