Follow these instructions to find out how to most accurately determine how many sight words your child knows.
- Fold the list in thirds so your child can only see one column. Otherwise they have a tendency to get overwhelmed.
- Point to the word. If they don’t know it immediately (without sounding it out), they don’t know it as a sight word.
