Our church hosts this event every year and helps create a special night for all the Daddy’s and daughters.  Chris made her a card this morning telling her how excited he was to spend the evening with her and then took her out to dinner before the dance.  He even bought her a wrist cor-sash. (I have no idea how to spell this, my spell check suggested this.)

When he came out of the bedroom all dressed up Ashlyn said, “Daddy you look very handsome.”  Then she said, ” I feel so beautiful. “  I about cried!  Daddy’s play such an important role in their daughter’s lives.   I love watching the way both my girls adore their Daddy.

I hope she always feels as beautiful as she did tonight!  I can’t wait to post some pictures.

I’ve had the same clothes since before I was married (9 years ago), same daily schedule for 4 years now and have had the same hair style since I was in the 3rd grade. I found this storms.jpggreat website last night and spent way too much time on it. It is perfect for people like me. You upload a picture of yourself and then try different hairstyles to see how they would look on you. You can even choose different colors and highlights. It was awesome and in 45 mintues I had myself looking good!

I know I probably won’t ever actually cut my hair like the one in the picture, even though I like it. I’m too safe and my husband basically told my he hated it. He’s bald so he really shouldn’t have a say in hair styles anyway, but it was alot of fun and made me feel like more of a risk taker. Even if it was only on a picture of me.
