I am teaching at a summer camp at the preschool I work at this summer. Ashlyn came with me this past week during our Under the Sea unit. Here are a couple crafts we made together.
The kids tore paper to make a colorful seahorse. Ashlyn took forever on this because she didn’t want any part of her seahorse white. Then they finger painted an ocean and added silver glitter.

Then we read the story There Was An Old Woman Who Swallowed a Shell. I had never heard this version but it was super cute. After swallowing everything she burped and out came a sandcastle. The kids colored, cut, and sequenced all the things she swallowed. Next week is Creepy Crawly Bugs. Should be fun!!

I love the There was an Old Woman… activity! Who doesn’t just love those stories/songs! So fun!

The old woman who swallowed whatever the book is (there are so many fun versions) is always a hit.
